I’LL BE BACK

SPRINGFIELD HOUSE

SPRINGFIELD HOUSE

Dear Friends, at the suggestion of Dan Norsworthy and Jenny Magee, I’ve decided not to shut down MartyMagee.com, but to take an extended break–which I’ve already done.

First, I’d like to tell you a few things that have been going on.  The house at left was our home in Springfield Oregon nearly 20 years ago.  This was it a few weeks ago.  It brought back pleasant memories as we drove by.

Speaking of houses, if you check out www.3051sierra.com you’ll see the house we’re trying to sell.  It’s not like us to have every sock picked up and every dish washed.  So, you can see the extra time it takes this undomestic blogger.

MILL CITY BACK YARD

MILL CITY BACK YARD

If we sell our Fresno house, we plan to move to Mill City.  Go to www.realtor.com and type in 1205 Third Av, Mill City OR to see our possible new place.

Here’s one reason we want to move back to Oregon:

Here’s a reason we’ve been holding off on the move:

Please look for my second book.  MUPPIM, HUPPIM AND ARD should be out sometime in 2010.  I’m sure it will be easier to write than figuring out how to place pictures on this mind-of-its-own blog.

Meanwhile, there are a few copies of EBENEZER left.

Blessings to you all!

Marty

Greetings.  I’m glad to be back.  I was locked out for a few days.

Enjoy with me the Ohio countryside enhanced by the TLC of Jo and Harvey Bond.

GUEST BLOGGER ANNA

ANNA SELFRIDGE

ANNA SELFRIDGE

I’d like to introduce you to my granddaughter, Anna Selfridge.  We met Anna and her family in Ohio.  In spite of difficulties, we’re having a good time.  Let’s see what Anna has to say.

Hi. I am Anna. This is a picture of me on my aunt’s porch. I call my aunt Jomama. She is nice .

When Grandma  and I went for a walk on my aunt’s street, we sall a bunny and the bunny was  small.  It had tiny ears and it was nibbling grass. When I was visiting Ohio, we stayed in an apartment.  The apartment was really big. We had lots of room.We visited Tanzania before we came to visit Ohio.  When we got to Ohio, I had my hair braided because I got it done in Tanzania, but now it is out. I am going to be in Ohio 2  more weeks. I’m from  America and I live in Doha.  Doha has sand dunes.  Doha has lots of places.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA

SHARING GRANDMA'S SUNDAE

SHARING GRANDMA'S SUNDAE

Thanks to all who visited, called and wrote to tell Georgia Lou happy birthday.  We’re sorry we were pooped and forgot to get pictures of our dear friends Dennis and Denise Arzoian.  Thanks to Eli and family for coming by.  We’re so thankful for all our friends and for a happy, healthy 94-year-old grandma, mother and friend.  Thanks to Charlotte for coming all the way from Albuquerque to see her grandma.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY

I hope all you mothers had a great day.  Ours was quiet but good.  Good friends, good food.  Enjoy our family collage if I can figure out this high-tech stuff.
